Antioch University Los Angeles
Antioch University Los Angeles is a small non-profit institution, passionate about our core values (social justice, service to community, life long learning) and how we learn (wedding theory to practice, with a strong emphasis on adult learners, small classes, and encouraging the full potential of each student).
Established in 1972, Antioch University Los Angeles offers degree programs designed specifically for the mature adult learner desiring to complete a degree and pursue personal and professional goals.
Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) completion program is growing rapidly in opportunities for focused study (Liberal Studies, Business and Social Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Child Studies, Creative Writing and Urban Community and Environment), and community partnerships (West Los Angeles College, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts). Students in this program also have the opportunity to move seamlessly into our graduate programs in Organizational Management, Education, Teacher Credentialing and Psychology.
Our nationally esteemed, low residency Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing program draws from the best poets and fiction writers both in Southern California and throughout the USA.
