Roger Durling

Adjunct Faculty

Roger Durling received his MFA from Columbia University.  He has been at the helm of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival for the past 12 years.

Born and raised in Panama, he has been teaching Film Studies at Santa Barbara City College for the past 11 years. He is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Santa Barbara’s Downtown Organization, and in 2004 was recognized as Santa Barbara’s Citizen of the Year – and received the George Gerth Volunteer of the Year award in 2011.
