Kirsten Gabriel Olson
Kirsten Gabriel Olson, PhD earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia. Currently, Dr. Olson is a clinical psychologist working in Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of California Santa Barbara. She provides crisis intervention, psychological assessment, individual and couples therapy, group therapy, and a wide range of outreach services. She supervises master’s and doctoral level psychologists-in-training in an APA-Accredited internship program. She is the Veterans Services Coordinator and work closely with student veterans, service members, and their families in higher education. Her research and clinical work has focused on exposure to traumatic life events, posttraumatic stress disorder, and mindfulness based cognitive therapy. She is licensed as a psychologist in California and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
