Judy Bruton, JD, MSW, LCSW
Judy Bruton received her undergraduate, law, and social work degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She practiced law as a criminal prosecutor and a corporate trial attorney (licensed in Missouri and Arizona) for many years before becoming a psychotherapist with her LCSW in Missouri and California.
Judy co-founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the complexity of eating disorders and also served on several nonprofit boards in St. Louis before moving to Santa Barbara.
Today, Judy holds a full-time position as Special Assistant to the President at Antioch University Santa Barbara. At AUSB, she serves as Director of the ten-month-long Women & Leadership Certificate Program that began in January 2014. Judy is also the Director of AUSB’s 16-month-long MBA program that focuses on social business, non-profit management and strategic leadership; this program began in September 2014.
