James Fortman, MA

James Fortman, MA, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. He will receive a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from AUSB in June 2012. James specializes in neuropsychological evaluations and has worked with patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other neurological disorders. He has conducted educational and neuropsychological evaluations in various settings including local elementary schools, the Ventura Brain Injury Center, UC Davis Medical Center, and the California Department of Rehabilitation. His experience also includes brief psychotherapy, consultation, and cognitive rehabilitation. Currently, he conducts neuropsychological evaluations for the Center for Bio-Behavioral Science.
