Frank Price Rust III, PhD
Frank Rust PhD, received his doctorate in developmental psychology research in 1984 from UCSB. He completed postdoctoral training in maternal and child health statistics and epidemiology in 1992.Dr. Rust has taught statistics for the nursing program at CSU Dominguez Hills since 1990 where, in 1997, he was awarded the Judith M. Lewis Outstanding Educator Award. He was also given the Excellence in Distance Learning Teaching award by the United States Distance Learning Association for a television series he wrote and appeared in about nursing and statistics. Dr. Rust, in the earlier part of his career, had multiple publications in the areas of psychology and maternal and child health. However, in recent years, Dr. Rust has dedicated himself solely to the two tasks he loves most – teaching and learning. He has taught at AUSB since 1992.
