Christopher J. Howard, PsyD, earned his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. For the past several years he has conducted neuropsychological evaluations for the juvenile court and has maintained an active private practice integrating findings from psychoneuroimmunology and behavioral neuroscience.
His current research interests include Vicarious Traumatization among health-care providers, Neurobiological Correlates of Partner Abusive Men, and Evidence Based Neurotherapy for Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. As a provider he is both grounded and compassionate- drawing from a life rich in experiences. He remains an avid surfer and practitioner of judo.
