Anna Kwong, MBA, was born and raised in Hong Kong during the time it was a British Colony and has lived in the UK and in Canada. In 2002, she became a proud American citizen. She has more than 25 years of experience in business, leadership, and management in various types of overseas trading and joint ventures. In 1985, Anna started a global computer firm. Her professional background also includes international business management, leadership, and trade.

In 1990, she began teaching as an adjunct professor at California Lutheran University MBA program, where she also launched the Global Trade Center within CLU and provided free consulting services to California-based businesses working on venturing overseas. Her teaching later expanded to include the University of Santa Barbara, SBCC, Pepperdine, and more.

In 2015, she was appointed as the first Chair of Antioch’s MBA program in Santa Barbara. With a focus on innovation and strategic leadership, Anna continues to devote her passion to educating a new class of global business leaders who combine performance and social responsibility. In 2018, she was honored as one of the top 50 businesswomen, in higher education leadership, across the tri-county region of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura. Currently, she serves as the Chair of the MBA Program as well as the Director of the Undergraduate Studies at Antioch University. She lives in Santa Barbara with her husband and her two canine kids. She spends most of her time teaching, traveling, enjoying life and pursuing meaningful and contributive engagements in society.
