Angela DeVita, PhD is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, coach, and global consultant in private practice providing services to adolescents, couples, families, adults, and corporations worldwide. In practice for over 10 years, she specializes in helping her clients with relationship issues (both personal and professional), work/life balance, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, expat/acculturation issues, and living true to one’s own inner compass.

She earned her doctorate in Depth Psychology with emphasis in Psychotherapy at Pacifica Graduate Institute and her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy with specialization in Art Therapy at Loyola Marymount University. A registered art therapist, Neuro-Emotional Technique practitioner, and depth psychotherapist, Dr. DeVita regularly integrates a combination of creative, soulful, and mindful body-awareness practices into her treatment and teaching approaches.

Additional personal and research interests include somatic psychology, the somatic experiences of the therapist, trans-generational transmission, the arts and mental health, travel, world cultures and the process of acculturation. Dr. DeVita is a member of the faculty teaching the MA in Clinical Psychology, Somatic Psychotherapy concentration and Somatic Psychotherapy Certificate programs.
