Screening and Q&A with Filmmaker: The Santa Ynez River Wilderness –
A Natural History, directed by Michael Love
Friday, August 16, 2013, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
A movie four years in the making, The Santa Ynez River Wilderness has been described as a love letter to the upper Santa Ynez River watershed. This wildlife-rich and comprehensive natural history of the Santa Barbara back country features prominent local experts in biology, anthropology, and geology. Framed by stunning cinematography of the seasons, flora and fauna, the film offers a deeper understanding of our mosaic of habitats and wildlife.
Stay after the screening for a Q & A with director Michael Love.
“It’s a must see for anyone who loves Los Padres.”
