Post B.A. Entry Track
The Post B.A. entry point is for prospective students who do not have a master’s degree in psychology. This track requires a total of 5 years to complete. Students graduate with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; they also earn a non-licensable Master’s Degree in Psychology after completion of the second year of the doctoral program (completion of 72 units).
Qualified applicants should be high achieving students with an undergraduate degree in psychology, or substantial coursework in psychology, work experience in the field or a master’s degree in another discipline, with an expected minimum 3.2 grade-point average (or with outstanding narrative evaluations for those earning the master’s degree at Antioch University or other institutions that do not award grades). In exceptional circumstances applicants with a lower GPA will be considered if they have special aptitudes in other areas.
Post M.A. Entry Track
The Post M.A. entry track is for students who have completed a master’s degree in psychology or closely related discipline. Those students enter the program with advanced standing and begin their courses in Year 2 of the program. For those entering with the M.A. degree, program completion time is 4 years: 3 academic years and a year of predoctoral internship.
Completion of an earned master’s degree in psychology or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution with an expected minimum 3.2 grade-point average (or with outstanding narrative evaluations for those earning the master’s degree at Antioch University or other institutions that do not award grades). In exceptional circumstances applicants with a lower GPA will be considered if they have special aptitudes in other areas.
