Educational Foundations & Academic Planning (EFAP)

In the Educational Foundations and Academic Planning Course (EFAP), students are introduced to the Core Purposes of a Liberal Arts education and emphasis is placed on developing the skills relating to critical thinking. The EFAP course also serves as a writing workshop and provides an individualized learning program for each student. EFAP is taken during or before the first quarter of study.

The EFAP course is made available as a pre-enrollment option for anyone wanting to learn more about Antioch University and the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Program.

The EFAP Course allows you to:
• Design your degree program
• Set academic, personal & career goals
• Sharpen critical thinking skills
• Improve writing & communication skills
• Earn three units of required credit toward your BA degree
