Many students choose a concentration in Social Service Administration because they want to help others and believe one of the best ways to accomplish this is through work in one of California’s many social service agencies and organizations.
Antioch’s Social Service Administration concentration provides the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective leader within the non-profit and public sectors that are devoted to serving the neediest members of our society.
The curriculum is diverse and multi-disciplinary, and includes coursework from the fields of management, psychology, sociology and communication. A special emphasis is placed on core fundamentals of grant development and fundraising.
