Psychology - Santa Maria Cohort
BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Applied Psychology
Antioch’s undergraduate concentration in Applied Psychology is designed to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of the theory and practice of psychology. A strong emphasis is placed on the contexts that influence the behavior and development of children, adolescents, adults and families.
The concentration in Psychology is especially designed for students who want to work in the field of mental health and related areas. The intensive and well-rounded curriculum also provides an excellent foundation for continued graduate study in clinical psychology as well as other psychology related areas.
Building upon Antioch University’s long history and tradition of experiential learning, our faculty brings real world experience and context to the classroom. Our Psychology faculty includes professionals from the fields of mental health intervention and clinical psychology who practice in both private and organizational settings.
