Antioch’s undergraduate concentration in Communication focuses on how people use content to generate understanding within and across various contexts, cultures, channels and media.
The core curriculum is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be effective communicators in both the personal and professional setting. Students explore a wide range of communication studies – including interpersonal, group, organizational, intercultural and technology-mediated communication.
Building upon Antioch University’s long history and tradition of experiential learning, our faculty brings real world experience and context to the classroom. The communication faculty includes professionals in fields such as organizational communication, media studies, creative and professional writing, and public speaking.
