“Family Dynamics and Living with a Brain Injury Survivor” Workshop Presented by Juliet Rohde-Brown, PhD

Juliet Rohde-Brown, PhD, PsyD Department Interim Chair, will be a presenter at an upcoming workshop “Family Dynamics and Living with a Brain Injury Survivor” at the Brain Injury Center, Tuesday, July 24th, 2012, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

A brief documentary will be shown that was developed by the presenters regarding their own family experiences around growing up with a brain-injured sibling. A discussion will follow with participants about their experiences. The presenters will share some strategies for coping with caregiving stress, finding meaning, and communication skills between family members.

  1. My former roommate is in rehab as an outpatient at Rancho Los Amigos in Downey. I am curious if there is anything I should be doing to support him, his family, but mostly myself.
