Our Spring Focus On the Environment Series: Ocean Advocacy starts Tuesday, April 10, 4:00-6:00pm with a Book Discussion: Moby-Duck. This book by author Donovan Hohn is the true story of 28,800 bath toys lost at sea and of the beachcombers, oceanographers, environmentalists, and fools, including the author, who went in search of them.
We invite you to come to this event to discuss the engaging book. Selected for the 2012 UCSB Reads program, it explores the health of our ocean. This event is free and open to the public and held on the AUSB campus, 602 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA. This event is co-sponsored by The Fund for Santa Barbara and is part of our series of community dialogues on contemporary environmental and social justice issues affecting our world.
